Director/FAO: Cynthia Perrie

 

Cyndy has been a licensed stylist in B.C. since 1984 and an instructor since 1989. As owner/manager/head instructor since 1990, Cyndy is a senior instructor, not only for our college, but also in the entire Province. Originally trained by Moler School (now called RSH!) Cyndy went on to manage salons for Raymonds as well as to supervise 8 salons for Magicuts before settling on a life of teaching. A level 2 Judge with the Cosmetology Industry Association of B.C.. as well as a certified Pivot Point instructor, Cyndy brings with her a definite expertise in color.  Cyndy developed our current Pivot Point hairdressing curriculum and adapted it to meet our specific requirements. Cyndy has competed in various competitions and has received numerous awards and trophies. She was on the board of directors with the Provincial body responsible for the Hairdressing trade in B.C. (ITAC) for 3 years. She was the only Private college instructor/manager/supervisor/owner on this board and one of only a handful of stylists taken from the 12,000 licensed and talented stylists in the entire province. Cyndy divides her time between both locations.

 

Instructor / Clinic Floor Manager: Linda Boyle

 

Linda has been a licensed stylist in B.C. since 1986. Originally trained by the Raymond Academy in Pivot Point methods Linda went on after graduation to work for the Raymond company. As an employee of RSH since 1998, Linda has been instrumental in the complete administrative change over at our Maple Ridge location. Linda is instrumental as our head instructor in Maple Ridge, she brings patients, humour, and a strong work ethic to the operation, as well as being a Financial Aid Officer at the Maple Ridge campus. Linda has completed the Pivot Point Instructor program and is also a level 2 Judge for the Cosmetologist Industry Association of B.C.

 

 

Instructor / Clinic Floor Manager: Ginny Lee

 

Ginny has been with us since 1999, and has over 20 years experience as a professional stylist. Ginny is one of our most senior members. Ginny has worked and held a professional hairdressing license in Manitoba, Ontario, and British Columbia. Having worked for the large Regis Salon Corporation in Toronto and Vancouver, both of Canada’s leading trend setting hair fashion cities for over 10 years, Ginny brings to our team not only strong work habits but commercial fashion techniques valuable to new stylists.  Ginny has also gone on to complete the Pivot Point Instructor program. Knowledge she has gained through travel strengthens our overall team salon experience level. Combined with her strong interpersonal skills and willingness to continue to learn new ideas and concepts make her a natural choice for a teaching position.  Ginny is bi-lingual, something that we feel is a definite asset to our staff. She has coached various students for completion and been rewarded with her students winning at all levels. She truly enjoys seeing her student’s progress and brings a fun, kind style of teaching to the classroom. Ginny can be found in New West.

 

Instructor / Clinic Floor Manager: Rosa Harris

 

Rosa is a Moler School of Hairdressing graduate and has been a licensed stylist since 1987.  Rosa spent 10 years working in the professional salon environment. For the last 11 years she has been an instructor for Noble House School of Hairstyling and now for RSH. Rosa spent the early part of her career traveling with various educators within BC teaching color seminars to licensed stylists. She also spent time working at ABA and CIABC trade shows on and off the performance stage. Rosa is a qualified Pivot Point instructor and has taken various advanced classes and seminars through Joico/West Coast and Goldwell Pacific. Rosa considers her strongest asset to be her communications skills. Students and staff all agree she is multi-talented, has great technical ability and can get along with just about anyone, Rosa works in New West as assistant administrator and Financial Aid officer,  but can be also found from time to time in Maple Ridge. She has a natural ability to motivate her students and brings a fun side to learning and yet maintaining a professional environment.

 

Instructor / Clinic Floor Manager: Adelina Badaraco

 

Adelina has been a stylist for over 10 years, a RSH graduate and a salon owner. Adelina currently divides her work time between us as an Instructor / Clinic Floor Manager and as a Professional stylist in a local salon. Adelina has multi language capabilities and an excellent work ethic. Her current juggling of two jobs brings realism to her teaching that all students benefit from. If you are curious about what it takes to work in and/or own a salon, Adelina can answer your questions. Adelina has a passion for hair design, and always makes her students feel like they are number 1 in her class, she is patient and caring and it shows in her style of teaching. Adelina currently works in New Westminster.

 

Instructor/Clinic Floor Manager:  Tina Davis

 

Tina is a RSH graduate and has been a stylist since 2003.  She is also a Master Nail Artist, practicing since 1995.  She has enjoyed being in competitions, placing in the top 4 many times.  Tina is passionate about hair, nails, and all aspects of the salon.  She excels at the technical and artistic components of cutting and color services.  Although relatively new to instructing, Tina offers enthusiasm, knowledge, compassion, and all with an emphasis on professionalism in the work place.  Tina is also an accomplished painter, and enjoys spending time with her family.  Tina can be found at our Maple Ridge campus.  We are definitely lucky to have her on our team!

The Instructor/Management Team at RSH is one of the finest in the Province both in educational background and on the job performance. Progressive policy decisions and a curriculum that is Internationally respected and recognized around the globe make our college a Provincial leader in cosmetology education. This team also respects and utilizes the client base and student body to increase its effectiveness in delivering high quality training, year after year. It is our unique ability of utilizing our entire operation, successes and failures, compliments and criticisms, as a springboard towards new and better ways of producing a qualified stylist that enable us to excel. With the smallest student to instructor ratio in the entire province, we feel we can adapt to any learning style. This small setting in each campus make our teachers part of the individual student life experience. Our  locations are all registered and accredited by PCTIA. All are members of Pivot Point Int., the CIABC., Joico Artistic Guild (JAG), This involvement in our industry helps to maintain our strong leadership role for producing highly qualified stylist. This reputation helps each and every graduate gain valuable opportunities in the employment market.
