Admission/Enrollment Requirements to
attend RSH.
- Grade 12 diploma or Equivalent OR
- Be 19 years of age or older (Mature student)
- A reasonable understanding of the English language
- Have basic communication skills required for providing customer service
- RSH. recommends:
- students posses the following:
- good hand eye coordination
- normal color vision
- good depth perception and ability to perceive line and form
- ability to stand for long periods of time
- an interest in the preparation and styling of hair
- a tour of the campus of choice with college representative

The Day Program runs Monday to Thursday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Friday 8:30 to 2PM. (some flexible evening extended hours)
( 11.5 months to complete 1700 hour hair/nail program )
Start months January, March, April, June, July, September, October
(1 week August Break and 1 week Christmas Break)
Hair and Nail Certificate Program ( 2 licenses 1700 hours )
Hair Certificate Program ( 1 license 1500 hours )
This is a unique and innovative curriculum that combines hair and nails. Allowing students to have an advantage in obtaining employment.
Classes start in January, March, April, June, July, September, October
Financial assistance is available to those who qualify in the form of the Canada Student Loan Program,
by Sponsorship through Human Resources Development Canada (H.R.D./C.E.C.).
